The average daytime temperatures in December and January are usually in the 50s to 70s depending on which way the breeze is blowing.
There are a number of things to do all winter long in Port Aransas such as fishing the surf, jetties, bays and deep sea. There are also a number of birding sites along the Great Texas Birding Trail and there's great golfing at the nearby Newport Dunes, links-style 71-par, 18-hole course. In addition to great shops, restaurants and galleries, Port A is a fun place to chill all winter long. We look forward to seeing you soon.
